The Role: Gameplay VFX Wizard (Remote)
Are you a real-time VFX artist with Unreal Engine coursing through your veins? Do you create effects so dazzling they feel like spells cast straight from a wizard’s staff? We’re looking for a VFX wizard who thrives in fast-paced environments where combat clarity is king.

In this role, you’ll bring life to fantasy characters and environments for an exciting AAA project. Your work won’t just be eye candy—it will be gameplay-critical, enhancing player immersion and delivering that satisfying “wow” moment with every ability cast and every sword swung.

Your Quest:

Craft stunning, real-time VFX optimized for multiple platforms and art styles.
Take ownership of the VFX pipeline, from concept to final in-game polish.
Collaborate with designers, artists, and coders to ensure your effects not only look spectacular but also support gameplay mechanics and clarity.
Stay ahead of emerging VFX trends and techniques to bring fresh magic to our projects.
Your Spellbook Should Include:

Mastery of Unreal Engine (mandatory), with deep knowledge of Niagara, material creation, and blueprints.
Expertise in integrating effects seamlessly into characters and environments.
A portfolio or demo reel showcasing your artistic flair—we’re looking for more than just explosions. Show us your unique spark!
Strong English communication skills to collaborate with our US-based team.
Industry experience is ideal, but we’re open to all applicants with extraordinary, stylized, and polished portfolios.
Bonus Points If:

You’ve worked on fast-paced games where gameplay clarity is crucial.
Your VFX designs tell stories, evoke emotions, and enhance gameplay dynamics.
