Sales Director (Multimedia)


Fluendo is a leading company on multimedia solutions based on the GStreamer framework. We develop from high-end video and audio codecs, to slick end-user applications or multimedia middle-ware powering different playback, encoding and streaming scenarios. Our software is being used in millions of devices and our clients vary from the main thin client manufacturers to the world’s leading film production labels.

Our sales and marketing team is a group of multidisciplinary people focused on the operations and activities involved in promoting and selling our products and services.

We are looking for someone with a strong sales attitude who inspires both clients and their team at Fluendo with their proactive and positive attitude, collaborates with other departments, including Business Development, and promotes mutual learning to increase our client portfolio. Our main focus is integrity, transparency, and customer satisfaction.

Along with meeting targets and keeping the sales team motivated, sales directors are responsible for managing all sales efforts. Independently develops all market segments in the context of the company"s current sales objectives, funds, and processes.

Sales Director responsibilities include all the sales and marketing activities. He will be overseeing all the sales funnel processes from the lead generation to the deals closing, motivating and managing account managers and ensuring they meet expected goals. The Sales Director will coordinate the Marketing Manager in the planning, strategy and objectives definition of marketing activities, including branding, product positioning, inbound strategies and sales enablement among others.

Besides, they may be involved in strategic planning. direct and oversee sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. Set short- and medium-term sales strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of current sales programs. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Sales director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends as well as setting up a strategy for finding new prospects and sales leads and converting them into paid users.

Minimum requirements


Qualifications
- University degree, ideally with post-graduate qualification (MBA, MA…)
- 3-4 years experience in the Multimedia industry
- Advanced English proficiency

Duties


Strategic Management
- Set a sales strategy
- Managing sales initiatives (Pricing, costs, and customers demand)
- Manage the sales and marketing budget
- Operational Management
- Manage and evaluate data to determine the effectiveness of a product or campaign.
- Create contracts that satisfy both the company and customer needs.
- To produce data for the sales team of various applications and platforms.
- Sales Forecasting by recognizing past trends and forecast future sales.
- Define and monitor sales KPI’s
