We are seeking an experienced Unity programmer whose core responsibility will be owning the porting of a new, in-development, game to Android.

You’ll be joining a small, collaborative team where you’ll work closely with designers, the lead developer and producer. This is a fully remote, full-time, 6 month contract position.

Our team is distributed across the world so you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, but will have to accommodate meetings across time zones. Your primary collaborators will be CEST-based.

Familiarity with programming games for Android is a must for this role. Please do not apply unless you have experience successfully shipping games to this platform.

Requisitos mínimos

Demonstrated ability to ship games to Android platform (you must provide clear details of at least 1 title successfully shipped to this platform in your application and details of the role you played in developing the title).
Familiarity with Google Play Console.
Ability to produce high quality work to a deadline.
Willing to collaborate with a range of time zones.
Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

Be responsible for platform-specific integrations and ‘own’ the task of ensuring the game runs smoothly on Android devices.
Assist with the integration of a backend solution to manage profiles, save data, leaderboards, achievements etc.
Help optimise performance to support a range of devices. You’ll need some familiarity with building for Android and troubleshooting common performance issues on the platform.
Work with QA to fix bugs and ensure high product quality on across devices.
Assist the Lead Developer with other programming related tasks as necessary. This may include analytics, social sharing, SFX, the localisation system and more.
