Minimum requirements

• The ability to take a blockout from Level Designers and autonomously turn it into a fully lit/crafted level.
• Experience creating realistic environments with Unity 3D.
• Great knowledge of: Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, Substance Suite, Photoshop & Zbrush (or any other similar software)
• Excellent 3D modelling skills.
• The ability to work as a team.
• Portfolio displaying great game assets and environments.
• A great artistic and creative eye.

Desired requirements

• A firm understanding of architectural elements, environments, and props.
• Art-related degree
• A love for realistic Sci-fi and/or medieval worlds.
• Experience in Unity and/or UE.
• Strong multitasking skills.
• Being a fast learner.
• Being able to think outside the box (e.g., how to reuse existing assets in new ways).
• Good understanding of light and color.

Duties

You will be responsible for creating stunning 3d environments based on blockouts and concept art/references provided by other teams. This includes:

• End-to-end creation of props and environments.
• Texturing and UV.
• Retopology and asset optimization.
• Artistic composition of the level in Unity and/or UE4.
• Light baking
