We’re looking for a Weapon Artist to join our team in Madrid, Spain.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating compelling realistic 3D weapons and hard surface elements prepared to be rigged.

Minimum requirements
• Hard surface modelling skills.
• Ability to optimize assets for functionality and performance.
• Agility in rapid subD modelling.
• Strong understanding of PBR materials.
• Experience in game engines, such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Comprehensive knowledge in software applications such as Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Maya, ZBrush and Substance Painter.
• Eager to learn new techniques and software.
Desired requirements
• Expertise with Perforce, Jira or other task manager and repository software.
• You are a highly motivated to keep up to date of emerging tools, techniques and technologies that influence 3D content creation.
• Proactive and professional artist with willingness to mentor others.
• Shipped AAA quality project on current or next generation consoles / PC.
• Experience as an artist in the game industry.
• Good communication skills in English and Spanish.
• University degree or equivalent in Art.
Duties
• Create realistic exceptional weapons based on concept art by using the latest industry tools and workflow approaches in a clean and optimized way.
• Adhere to best practices and workflows established for the team and help to improve them.
• Collaborate with Riggers and Animators to implement and test weapon rigs and animations within UE5.
• Integrate content in game engine.
• Be a team player by sharing content and knowledge with colleagues following Leads and Art Directors guidance.
• Be proactive communicating the team your progress.
• Be able to receive and provide critique at a professional level.
