Digital Legends is an Activision independent Studio based in Barcelona, formed by industry veterans and emerging talent who are focused on delivering a AAA gaming experience to mobile devices. Since it was founded in 2001, the studio has been a pioneer in mobile game development. It has a long, established history as a leading mobile development studio with a number of high-quality mobile titles built from the ground-up to its credits, including the award winning The Respawnables™ series of games. We are recruiting top class talent for an unannounced mobile title within the Call of Duty® universe.

We are looking for a Lead Level Designer to work to oversee the construction of mobile gameplay spaces and help grow and manage the level design department. The ideal candidate is experienced leading and mentoring others, knows how to build fun levels and has great communication skills.

Requisitos mínimos

YOUR SKILLS:
• 5+ years experience as a level designer.
• Experience managing or coordinating people in any capacity.
• Experience with world building in modern engines and level editing pipelines.
• Ability to communicate well in English (Written and spoken)
• Ability to communicate well with other teams and departments

Requisitos deseados

IT"S ALWAYS A PLUS:
• Experience in shooters, mobile game development and/or AAA games

Responsabilidades

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with art and tech to come with map designs that preserve strong visual aesthetics and are technically achievable/will fit performance budgets.
• Work with production to come up with an implementation plan and oversee that the work gets delivered according to schedule.
• Bridge communication between all departments and studios involved in the making of the level.
• Create best practices and incentivise knowledge sharing between team members.
