We are currently looking to hire a Videogame Designer to lead our Game Design Team.
The Video Game Designer will design the core features and updates of our video game catalogue, including titles acquired over the last year. Specifically, this position will require knowledge/experience with innovative game mechanics, new monetization loops, experience adjusting FTUE, and providing updates on the progression of your team. Create and maintain design documentation. Guide and collaborate with production staff to produce games as designed & elaborate and update a roadmap. They also balance and adjust gameplay experiences to ensure the critical and commercial success of the product.
? Be up-to-date on new trends and practices in the (mobile) game industry
? Experience working in Unity3D and having a basic scripting knowledge.
? High English level
? Experience in Free to Play & monetization
? Experience in Mobile
? Design work on a project that had a positive outcome for the revenue or retention
? Experience in going through & understanding game metrics and KPIs
? Would prefer a candidate based in Madrid, Spain, but for the right candidate, we are willing to consider a fully remote role
? Most of all, we are looking for someone who is willing to work as a team and has passion to pitch & execute ideas that will improve our games
? 3+ years' experience
? Management experience
? Provide feedback to designers and other colleagues regarding game design features
? Lead a team of designers, help grow their abilities, while still working on a game project
? Devise missions, challenges, or puzzles to be encountered in game play
? Guide design discussions between development teams
? Develop and maintain design level documentation, including mechanics, guidelines, and mission outlines
? Create and manage documentation, production schedules, prototyping goals, and communication plans in collaboration with production staff
? Be part of the production cycle, from prototyping to live ops. (Previous experience in this is highly preferred)
? Reading and understanding game’s data in order to plan new updates to improve revenue and KPIs
