At Blackmouth Games, we strive to innovate and create unique experiences that push the boundaries of what is possible in the gaming industry. To achieve this, we are currently seeking a full-time Lead Game Artist to join our talented team.

Minimum requirements

- Possess +10 of extensive industry experience

- 2-3 years of team leadership experience.

- Successfully launched open world games.

- Proficient in technical art.

- Excellent knowledge of 3D software (Blender, Substance, etc.)

- Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.

- Demonstrated artistic proficiency.

- Good organizational skills.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (english and spanish)

Desired requirements

- Knowledge of scripting and experience in Unreal Blueprints.

- Good material knowledge

Duties

- Clearly define goals and objectives for the art department.

- Develop a comprehensive art direction strategy.

- Streamline the hiring process for art developers with HR.

- Schedule weekly meetings with the art department for updates and follow-ups.

- Manage the art department.

- Collaborate with the production team to establish clear objectives and align art tasks with project goals.

- Analyze the current art organization and identify areas for improvement.

- Design and implement optimised pipelines to enhance the efficiency of art production processes.

- Create some assets for NFTs or other content.

- Work together with the marketing department to improve the quality of art-related results and align them with marketing strategies.
