Requisitos mínimos

As a Technical Animator, you will be working on UE5 animation tools to make animators’ art a reality in the game. To achieve this you will work closely with the Lead Animator, Lead Combat Designer and the Programming Team and will act as a bridge between all of them.

Requisitos deseados

UE5 Animation blueprint experience.

Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines.

Background in game development.

Be able to help Tech Art Team and/or VFX Team will be valued positively.

Residence in Barcelona is preferred.

Responsabilidades

Be the owner of the Animation blueprints

Improve our use of Unreal Engine animation tools (Custom animation node creation, Control Rig, Motion graph, IK Animation retargeting etc.)

Develop Procedural & Physicalised Animation systems.

Standardise the interaction with animation blueprint across the team. (e.g., Give animators input into how to setup anim montages, blendspaces and the state machine optimally).

Work with designers to help the animations fit into the desired gameplay interactions and mechanics.

Approach programmers to optimise and extend the current set of both gameplay and engine technologies.

While being in the animation department, be the first point of contact for technical matters in regards of animation in Unreal.

Troubleshoot and solve technical production issues.

Develop and maintain tools to support the team’s workflow.
