We are looking for a talented and versatile 2D-3D Artist to join our in-house team in the vibrant city of Valencia, Spain.
If you have strong skills in both 2D and 3D art creation, and a passion for bringing visuals to life, we would love to see your work!
Minimum requirements
- 2+ years of experience working as a 2D and 3D artist in the gaming industry or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in 2D art software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, …) for concept art, and illustration.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max) with experience in modeling, texturing, and UV mapping.
- Strong art foundations, preferably with fine arts studies,
- Experience working with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and lighting in both 2D and 3D spaces.
- Ability to create concept art, characters, environments, and props that translate from 2D to 3D.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a Spanish and English-speaking environment.
Desired requirements
- Notions in 2D animation (e.g., Spine, After Effects, or frame-by-frame animation).
- Familiarity with PBR workflows for creating textures and materials.
- Notions in rigging and animating 3D characters.
- Knowledge of sculpting tools like ZBrush for creating detailed 3D assets.
- Notions in creating UI/UX designs for games.
- Familiarity with shader creation and real-time rendering optimization.
- Experience working with VFX, particle systems, or lighting in game engines.
- A portfolio showcasing a variety of art styles, from stylized to realistic.
- Familiarity with agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban).
