For our office in Palma de Mallorca, Spain we are looking for a Senior Environment Artist with an eye for detail, solid knowledge of game development processes, especially the art- and rendering pipeline and a hands-on mentality. Our ideal candidate has expertise in 3D modeling software, advanced texturing skills and extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and its environment creation tools.

Our offices are in the Netherlands and Spain. Currently we are developing a realistic simulated golf game.

Requisitos mínimos

What will you bring with you:
• A degree in Arts and a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience,
• A professional portfolio showcasing a wide range of environment artwork,
• Expertise in 3D modelling software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender,
• Experience in Unreal Engine 5, including newer technologies like Nanite and Lumen,
• Advanced texturing skills using tools like Substance Painter, Substance Designer, or Photoshop,
• Strong written and verbal communication in English,
• Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills.

Who are YOU:
A self-motivated and highly organized person, capable of working independently and with in-office and remote team members to meet deadlines and milestone requirements.

Responsabilidades

What will you be doing:
• Create high-quality 3D environments, including landscapes, nature and props,
• Ensure artistic consistency and quality across all assets and environments,
• Optimize assets and environments for performance without compromising visual quality,
• Troubleshoot and solve technical and creative challenges with our technical team related to environments and visual fidelity,
• Deliver work on time and according to schedule, set the example as a senior,
• Provide clear direction to the Art team members and actively collaborate with the entire production team to ensure alignment with the project’s vision and scope,
• Provide mentorship if needed.
