Role Overview

Here at IGT, we are looking for a Game Design Mathematician to join our team in Barcelona, where you will become part of our global business of approximately 7200 employees!

You will be responsible for creating and verifying the math models for our games. You will be comfortable producing mathematical models from casino games, working closely with the game producers.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Designing, calculating and implementing math models in our games
• Validating internal math models to ensure they work as intended.
• Creating simulations and calculation programs for various types of existing and new game mechanics.
• Preparing the necessary mathematical documentation for the technical approval

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
• Knowledge of Combinatorics, Probability Theory and Statistics
• Advanced use of Excel
• Programming languages: Java/Phyton
• Creative thinking and ability to work with others to find solutions.
• Proficiency in English

Bonus Points if You Have

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of GIT, JIRA, Confluence
• Programming languages: C/C++/R
• Linux knowledge
