www.xnormal.net , seguramente el mejor programa que hay de esto gratis, y es paisano, porque creo que el que lo hace es español.

No sé exactamente qué necesitas hacer, pero con Blender puedes esculpir "a la Z-brush" y bakear igualmente mapas de normales, de sombras, de oclusiones...
